Who runs it

Offered and run by Colab AI.

Colab AI, which the training sites call TheColab, was founded by Adam Holt and Simon Conroy. The courses are delivered by practitioners and partners from the thecolab.ai network, New Zealand's community of people building with AI.

  • People practise on the reports, emails and files they work on every week.
  • We are independent, so we will tell you when a different tool, a cheaper plan or no AI is the better answer.
  • We help you choose plans and licences before anyone pays for seats.
Formats

How the training runs.

We come to you

On-site anywhere in New Zealand: your office, your boardroom or a venue nearby.

Remote

Live over video, with the same hands-on exercises.

Half-day or full day

A half-day is a focused first session for a team. A full day gives more time on your own tasks, with practice built in.

Team rollout

A series of sessions over several weeks: foundations first, then role-based follow-ups, champions and a check-in on what people have learnt.

Public workshop days

For sole traders, small teams and people learning on their own. We set a day in an area once enough people ask, so register interest on each site.

Learn online

Each site has a free online introduction with practice lessons and quizzes. No login needed.
